Reminder: Bandits wheely.
« on: April 06, 2006, 03:28:13 PM »
OK, it's been non-stop raining around the Bay Area, so I haven't had much oppty to ride my new ride .. but today I got to come into work.

1st gear power wheelies are free free free.  The best part is it comes up so predicatably.   Mad stuntah.

I tried for a 2nd gear power wheely, but wasn't feeling it.  I have a feeling a little more bounce and it's a possibility.

Note:  The previous owner went up a tooth on the rear, so I'm sure that's helping... also, the corbin seat keeps my butt back further than my normal nuts-to-tank position, so those things must be helping.

Anyhow.  Wheelies are cool.  Can't wait to pass my first school bus on this thing.

600 way way harder to wheelie. Usually you need to use the clutch. However with a jet kit and slip on.......
2005 Bandit 1200, Modified Holeshot Stage 1 with 17.5 pilots 2.75 turns out, and 110 mains 5 shims. Muzzy Slip on w/mid-pipe, stock filter. 1.5" hole in the airbox lid.

Get the 1216 piston kit and you'll feel the love. Plus you can bounce it up in 3rd @ 5000 rpm as well.
