New to Bandit Alley
« on: July 21, 2008, 05:38:43 PM »
What's up guys. I ride here in Idaho falls. I've seen a few other bandits around but never been able to talk to any of them. Anyway I have a 2000 600S with a little bit of stuff done to it. Here are some pics.

b4 I did the wheels

Some riding buddies and I cruised down to Zions National Park. Man was I sore after that ride....

When you say 'did the wheels' do you mean just paint? They look really sharp! :beers:

The wheels are powdercoated with a polished lip. I like them a lot!

Is that 2 other Bandits I see on the far left?  I'd almost say the farthest one to the left is an '07, but its hard to tell with some of the sport models, as I haven't learned the variations yet.

Welcome to the board!

yes. Far left is a 2008 1250, next to it is a 2001 600S and then my red 2000 600S

Being powdercoated the dirt falls off with a hose, but yes they need to be wiped off once in a while!

Wow, I didn't know any '08s came in red, or was it painted?  I would have had a hard time choosing between the red and the blue.

If you don't mind me asking how much did the powder coating cost (round figures will do)?  Or, did you do it yourself?

I did it myself. I guess his bike could be an 07. He bought it new this year so I assumed it was an 08.

Looks great! I have a extra set of wheels I was thinking of getting powder coated. I have a pal that does it. Just get so tied up in work, everything else gets put on hold.
Looks like there must be some awsome roads in te area of the pic.
