having trouble getting insurance to pay street value on B400
« Reply #15 on: January 12, 2006, 12:55:21 PM »
I just purchased insurance through progressive.  About $120/year was as low a quote as I could go.  I got a quote from geico for $800+!  That's with the 10% discount for motorcycle training cert that progressive didn't even ask about.

Very nice website too.  You could change everything & see how it affects the bottom line.

Here are my details.  I am 34, married with children and living in AZ, so all the details will probably not apply, but it will give you a ballpark.  Hope this helps.

My god!

This has got to be the first time I'm glad to live in Quebec for INS.

Currently I'm paying $445/year with 100% coverage and $50 deduct on a 2k2 B12. AND I'M 24!!!!! The only downfall is I can't get rich by sueing someone because in QC we have "no-fault" INS.....garbage when you're not at fault but GREAT if you are slightly....and here....bikes usually are looked upon as "at-fault".

All I can say is good luck......
