I got home from work today, and some new friends were hanging out on the couch with my wife.

I shot some pics, tell me what you guys think.

I love my new friends so far  :bigok:

Very nice, but be careful they seem to be a little rowdy. :congrats:

A set of these "friends" came pre-installed on my 01B12S....

They are louder than OEM, but not terribly... UNTIL you twist the tale of the tiger..... then the BANDIT  will SNARL for sure....

But for SANE riding... not really noticeable.  Looks nice too.

not terribly louder then OEM????? :duh:

my dang motor is louder then my OEM Exhaust.

Usually standing behind the tail pipe is the loudest place to stand. On my bike it's actually the quietest place to stand

I'm starting to think the stock exhaust is made by Lexus.

I took a before video (with sound) and I'll take an after so we can compare

Loud pipes

Pod,

I am perhaps a RARE case among motorcyclists.  I HATE LOUD PIPES...  To me loud exhaust is OFFENSIVE, CHILDISH, and ABSURD.  I liked the sound of the "muffin" on a STOCK B-12...  But when I bought the 01 I have now, it had the D&D set up. Before I agreed to buy it, after dragging a trailer over 200 mi to get it, I had to ride it...without a helmet, around a parking lot at a large apartment complex outside Randolph Air Force Base,Universal City, Tx...  It was not loud enough to trigger my "NOISE" switch... I was astonished how quiet the D&D is for an after market set up...  Then after running it up on the tilt trailer, before shutting down, a 5000 rpm run up... SNARL...  But by then I had given the cash to the seller....

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.....

Any chance of posting those before and after videos on this site or somewhere??? My '07 1250 is extremely quiet and seriously needs some help with the exhaust note. I don't need extra power or EFI reprogramming or any of that crap, just a little sound.
