Well there you go, yet another Aussie Motorcycle World Champion go Casey Stoner you good thing. :congrats:  :congrats:

It's a pity he couldn't finish on the podium but he did what he needed to and finished in front of Rossi.

Unfortunately one side effect of this is that my M750 riding wife 'The Treasurer' is going to be even more unbearable to live with - I thought I'd never say this, but thank goodness Troy Bayliss doesn't look like he's going to win this year. :duh:  :duh:  :duh:

Stoner earned it early on in the season, but I thought Rossi was going to make it interesting at the end, and really make him earn it. Twas not to be...

The mixed weather Japan race became anti-climatic at the end, once Rossi couldn't come to grips with the change to slicks on the backup bike, it was a coast home for Stoner.

It was good to see Capirossi win on the Duc again.

:congrats: Congrats to Casey Stoner, new MotoGP champ for 2007!! :congrats:
