Coffee in Cowtown anyone?
« on: September 14, 2007, 02:10:03 AM »
we're headed through Calgary this weekend, going to Claresholm to visit my Grandmother, who's in Palliative care, and not expected to make it through next week.

So, in the interests of making it not a totally bummer type trip, anyone wanna meet for coffee?  (Can't bring the bikes cos we may have up to 4 people headed to Claresholm, and one won't ride.)  If interested, I'm leaving Saturday morning, and if things go as planned, we should be in Calgary Saturday evening after the visit, or Sunday morning before we head back home.

If interested, PM me before Saturday at about 6am with your phone # and I'll send my cell# and we'll try to meet up.

You probably wouldn't even have to get her ON the skateboard... just show her the board and the rope and let her know the choice... road skier, or pillion.

Of course, this assumes you have enough gear (or can borrow it easily) to gear up your two pax.

Safety first.  :bandit:

Hey! Alright!!  Of course, From Quebec to Alberta would be one hell of a trek for coffee... so I really didn't expect ya... NOT that you wouldn't have been welcome...

As it turned out, My schedule was tighter than I thought, but, good or bad, we're going to be back there on Saturday for the funeral, so I may be able to swing something next week if anyone is reading this.

Thanks, I appreciate it.  It's been nuts around here, but I'm finally getting back on track.  Today's the first time I've been able to sit down and relax in about 2 weeks.  If I haven't been trying to arrange travel, I've been playing catchup with clients and other responsibilities.   Problem, of course, is once I slow down, is when I hafta think about what's gone on in the last  4 weeks.
