I'm heading from Toronto to Brooklyn Michigan on the father’s day weekend and I'm planning on riding. I'd like to stay off the super slabs if I can and was wondering what the conditions are on the secondary roads.
I am crossing at Port Huron/Sarnia and am meeting friends in Fenton off of Highway 23. I will probably take highway 23 from Fenton south but want a more interesting route to Fenton from Port Huron than Highway 69and Highway 23.
I have looked at Highway 21 that parallels 69 to highway 15 south to Grange Hall road and into Fenton.
If anybody has better suggestions or can confirm that this is a decent route I'd appreciate the feedback.
