Ya, that show does nothing for me. They are obviously trying to attrack a youthful following, but to me, it only furthers the stereo type of "zoom-splats" and "crotch rockets". And does little to represent the majority of riders who like performance and function over chrome and fringes.
Don't get me wrong I love to beat the crap out of my friends after going for a ride, but I just couldn't get the images of Torque or Fast And the Furious out of my head while watching that show.
I'm still waiting for another show like "A Bike Is Born" or similar program that shows you step by step how to install components on a bike, much like the many Truck or "Shade Tree Mechanic" shows Speed currently airs.
I know I'll end up watching Superbike, if nothing else for the laugh factor. With all the "adventure" riders posting on boards such as advrider.com you'd think they could make a cool show on that stuff alone!
