I knew there'd be at least one smarta$$ out there. :crackattack:

Besides, I happen to like clover.  I had the choice this evening of mowing or giving him the bike.  Which would you have done?

Both! I'd have given him the bike and then told him he couldn't ride it until he'd finished mowing the lawn.  :beers:

I'll let him ride the dirt bike, but he's a menace on my riding mower (which cost about 5 times as much as that bike).  He'd take the whole fence out with the riding mower.  He just can't master the technique of slowing down for the turns.

I'm teaching him to mow with the pushmower now.

Great! One you get him trained in the use of the lawn care tools, maybe he can get work in the neighborhood doing lawn care to finance his next bike.
(That's how I got my first bike.)

I always said when my twin boys where old enough I'd get them mini bikes, but so far I have not. One of them is a total nutter on a push bike little known what the hell he would be like on something motorized. Just last night I had to sit him down and have a little chat. Man I dont know what to do with him, he really is a nutter on 2 wheels ( Missus in the back ground, saying, "I wonder where he gets it from" , dont know what the hell she's on about, really, and as if she can talk, I can never seem to shake her off my butt, even if she does still ride a hon, a hoon arh that piece of pink shyte ) :duh:  and if she's up front, its bloody hard work to pass her, its like easier to pass my mates on bigger bikes than her. Come to think of it, whats it going to be like when she steps up to a real bike. gulp this could get embarassing...... Picking up the phone, to ring mate at the shop.
" Now much was that 80 hp nitros kit?"
Now what can I start taking off, the B6 to slow it down?  :banghead:
Thanks Matt, thats it, the Boys aint getting motorbikes, my ego just couldn't handle being whipped by the missus, and the kids.
Foot loose and fancy free.

I know how you feel Mick, the Treasurer is getting a bit to quick on the M750.  On the last ride I was having to think twice about tryung to keeping up, particularly in the tighter stuff, in open sweepers the B12 just eats her up.

As for getting my two boys a dirt bike - I'd need 2 because of the height difference - 6'3" vs 4' nothing. The other problem I've got is my back yard is tiny and I doubt I'd have the time to continually take them somewhere they can ride them..

Well, he's getting a little adventuresome.  Took him over behind the local ballparks to ride in a larger area (and spare my fence).  He kicked it up into second gear tonight.    Rode over a few humps and nearly "caught some air" and "accidentally" splashed through a mud puddle."  He also (accidentally) busted off a rear wheel spinning launch in the grass.
