Motorcycle freight options
« on: November 30, 2011, 12:31:18 AM »
I need to ship my bike from LA to Philly.
Anyone know of any cheap carriers? or creative thrifty options?
I want to go as cheap as possible, my engine blows 50 psi, I just need to get it home.

Probably would let my fingers do the walking 1st and start making calls. You might be able to get a crate from a motorcycle dealer.

Do you know what's wrong? It could be as simple as valves out of wack. It might be fixable or at least good enough to drive it if thats an option.
2005 Bandit 1200, Modified Holeshot Stage 1 with 17.5 pilots 2.75 turns out, and 110 mains 5 shims. Muzzy Slip on w/mid-pipe, stock filter. 1.5" hole in the airbox lid.

thanks, but there were a few other factors to consider, I was running out of time and money and really just needed to get back home. I ended up finding an insured freight service for $500. my open thread about the bike is, "power issue worsens with time/miles."
thanks,
