Progressive shock found on Craigs list... but is it right?
« on: September 06, 2006, 03:53:19 PM »
A guy is advertising a Progressive shock for a 2000 Bandit 1200; that's still first gen, right?

( i.e., I have a '97 Bandit 1200, and I want to verify it'll work.  Ignore the fact that I have the ABS version of the bike, and the bottom shock has something different about it.  )

Yes the 2000 Bandit is still, and the last year of the 1st. Gen. I have that shock on my bike. I don't know if the ABS will be a problem.
Free thinker and proud to be a member of a board that let's me be one.

Well, turns it it's a *brand new* Progressive 420 for a 2001 bandit, so not for me.
But the guy wants $200; that should be a deal for someone out there.

This is bay area, California
