I just got back from a trip to Paris...People are a lot nicer than I had been led to believe and they have TONS of bikes. Maxi scooters, mini scooters and all kinds of bikes parked on every sidewalk and corner, sans tickets!

Every manufacture makes at least 4 models not available in the states that (based on our affinity for the Bandit) I think we would all love to see here!

I also saw an MT-01 and MT-03 when I was there but they where moving so no pic.

I would have gotten more but my Fiance would have killed me for stopping at every corner!

Anyone know why they went with dual shocks a'la the ZRX1200?

The dual rear shocks are a bow to the 'retro' image and the heritage of the GSX1400. You probably don't remember the Bandit's Daddy....the liter GSesessesssss of the the late 70's, early 80's?
I think the French were just happy you weren't walking toward their car with a match!
Plus...I guess you're out of traditional tourist season. IT's hard being rude to tourists all year round, they have to ease up sometimes.

What Pete said - plus the GSX1400 is the biggest of the GSX no-extra-letter "Inazuma" series - it doesn't carry the "Inazuma" moniker, but you can easily see that's where the styling comes from, and theGSX designator is the same. All these are single backbone frame, twin rear shocked UJM's. There's also a GSX1200 which looks pretty much like the 1400. It uses the same engine as the Bandit & GS1200SS (which is also a twin rear shocker, but has a Bandit-like steel perimter frame). There's also a 750 Inazuma (same engine as the JDM 750 Bandit) and a 400 (not the same engine as a B4, this engine looks like the same family as the bigger Bandits).

I'm in Rego Park, Kamil...What part are you from?

I like the look of the GXR1400, but think that Suzuki would benefit from taking a page out of Yamaha's book this year when it comes to the new Bandit and the 1400. The FZ1 has the same feel as the tried and true UJM's with a little more flair and a little more technology.

This GSR is a little more like it:

Twin spar aluminum fram and efi...now we just need to add 600cc and we are there!

Obviously the best would be to have a full enough line that everyones needs would be satisfied
