That's It, I'm crossing the pond.  I think I might stay, just for the motorcycle options.

That is one deadly looking bike!  What is that winshield extension called?  Searched for them but couldn't find them anywhere. Wonder if they're available over here?  Seems like just the ticket for long rides.

BTW, Des, I finally located that helmet you asked me to look up.  Good luck:

I like it!!  I have headlight envy.  Oh, and I wish my bike were black.  Other than that, it kinda looks like mine fully dressed.

Also looks like it has a GPS mount...I must admit I don't understand using GPS on a bike.  First, it seems dangerous to look/play with it while riding, and second isn't getting lost half the fun?

I think that TwistedThrottle.com has those windscreen extensions...I'll check.

Yep.  Go here: http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/1608/103/

...can't figure out how to attach pic.

BTW, I'm not a TwistedThrottle employee, just a satisfied cusotmer.

I hadn't seen those, only these...

http://www.saeng.com/2117.htm

Yours are cheaper, but I wonder if they're as sturdy as Saeng's?

The Saeng's tip is taped on, whereas the MRA tip appears to be bolted on. The windscreen in the original pic looks like an MRA screen.

Interesting.  I wonder how my ZG Sport/Touring screen would stand up to having that attached?  It's a bit thinner than the stock screen.

By the way, do you find that you use your sidecases very much?  I've thought of adding them to my bike, although since I don't travel I wasn't sure I'd find much use for them.  Extra storage space is a good thing, though, it seems to me.

When I ride up to PA (or anywhere else) and stay for a few days, they are great.  Around town/shopping, I don't use them.

If I go to the beach for the day, I use them.

All in all, I'm glad I have them.

Dave

BTW, they are water-friggin-tight!

Hey Dan!  I usually stop in the Harrisburg area, but I've been meaning to explore a little more of my home state next time I'm up.

I'll give you a holler next time I'm up that way.

Hello.
Sorry to be a pedant, but that appears to be a Bandit 650, not a 1200. I base this on the end of the swingarm and the front brake calipers.
Confusingly, the 650 now has a black engine so would appear at first sight to be a 1200.

Not such a good tourer (unless you take it slow)
