We've got a thread for posting your dream girls, but how 'bout posting a pic of your dream bike?  Let's see what everyone likes.

I have several, but I'll start with...

1983 Suzuki GS1100S Katana

Your turn!    And remember...this is a picture thread...

Didn't the '83 model get the 1100 engine? I also lusted after the 1000 and 1100 Katanas. I had an '82 550 katana and went looking for the big Katana or a Suzuki turbo and when I couldn't find one, I bought an '82 GS1100E. But...I always have and always will want an RG500 Gamma.

I know I'll catch some guff over this but here goes!

Harley V-Rod, of course!!  What else??

In Screamin' Eagle mode - sat on one at a bike show in Toronto and it was candy apple red and listed for just over $35000 CDN!

There was even a puddle of oil underneath it on the carpet for that realistic look!

Am I allowed an off-road choice?  KTM 950 supermoto.  Sat on one of these and it's like six feet high but totally awesome!

Thanks, Des - great idea!

Jim

Considering what's currently available and not what's rumored to be on the horizon, this:

or this:

(Why didn't the US ever get it in red though?)

One of these would be nice, too:
(With a set of more dirt oriented tires & wheels for when you want to do more serious dirt work)

I'm not sure that there would be ONE bike that I could 100% be happy with. (sort of like women)
I saw this bike a the races at Texas World Speedway a couple of weeks ago, while I was wandering through the paddock.
It caught my eye.

Seems like you're stuck in the 80's there, DA.  :stickpoke:

Oh, not at all!  I like late '70s Zukes and Kawasakis, too!  Bid on an early '70s Z1 not long ago, but after viewing it in person decided not to win it.  The pic was way better than the reality, unfortunately.

I've lost in the bidding on several bikes.  A VX800, a K100, a KZ1000, a GS750E, an R100RS, a GT250, a TM400, a Cavalcade, a Goldwing, and this one, which I kept a pic of...

Go ahead!  Tell me you don't want that sitting in your driveway!  :bigok:

Oh, yeah, I actually do win on occasion...

There was a super-clean 1150ES like that for sale on my little island last summer, but the guy wanted a fortune for it. I lusted after those when they were new, but there've been a few improvements over the years in the ST market, so I don't really want one anymore. Still like the looks of that one though... well, except for the tail bodywork.

But speaking of old bikes, I always liked the Honda VT500 Ascot - except I'd wanna replace the headlight with a round one.

For some odd reason, I also like the long-running in the world market, short-lived in the US market, Yamaha TDM 850.

The US does things backwards.
The most of the rest of the world does it day/month/year.
I would assume that was a March 10th photo.

This one's sweet... and destined to become a collector's item since they went belly-up.  (Again)
