The US does things backwards.
The most of the rest of the world does it day/month/year.
I would assume that was a March 10th photo.

I'd love a gsxr 1100 motor wrapped in a spondon frame:

I also love the Ducati Sport 1000, but I'll take mine in red:

I am with you on the Spondon Frame and swingarm.  Those things look insane.

Yup, those Spondon's are gorgeous! The turbo's a nice little addition, too.  :bigok:

This one's sweet... and destined to become a collector's item since they went belly-up.  (Again)

Sweet bike.  I had the feeling all along, though, that this guy wasn't going to be the success story that Hinckley is.  Too bad, to.

I'm going +2 on the Norton.  Where did you hear they were out of business again? Cycle World just did an article on them and said they were sold out for the first production run.

I know I'll catch some guff over this but here goes!

Harley V-Rod, of course!!  What else??

In Screamin' Eagle mode - sat on one at a bike show in Toronto and it was candy apple red and listed for just over $35000 CDN!

There was even a puddle of oil underneath it on the carpet for that realistic look!

Am I allowed an off-road choice?  KTM 950 supermoto.  Sat on one of these and it's like six feet high but totally awesome!

Thanks, Des - great idea!

Jim

yep im with you there either the vrod or the ktm    2 great bikes

Jim I'm with you on the V Rod, but time will tell, but I reckon with some insane home made carbon bits and pieces, one could make a nice ride from one. But as I said only time will tell, if finally you guys in the state side, have finally made a half desent motorcycle, that does not require rebuilding every 35 thousand miles, or more fixing than riding.
So I guess the next best thing would be to go nuts on a Vmax, see some of the stuff the frenchies are doing with them, shyte hot. (Just quietly if the french can do I'm sure we can do it better)

Foot loose and fancy free.
Looking for adventure and what ever comes our way.

You're joking, right?

The rim mounted discs are available from the aftermarket, besides, there's a pair of 'em on that CBX powered, Spondon (or Spondon-like) framed, single sided swingarm custom bike.

Ghezzi & Brian use those brake systems on their custom Moto-Guzzis:

Yep, the new Buell Ulysses.  New wider stance for stability off-road.
