« on: May 09, 2006, 09:28:00 PM »
I just moved in to my very first house with future wife and it seems the only part of the it that's mine is the garage, yard and a small part of a master bathroom.  I want to put up racing poster from MotoGP, SBK or AMA superbike action posters. Does anyone know where i can get some nice sized posters for my little part of the house that I can go and hide in?

Thank you for your help gues

I know this won't help but the Barber races a few weeks ago were the perfect place for that stuff.  I picked up several (freebies) that are suitable for framing.

Hate to say it but the spaces will get smaller....   :stickpoke:

How about a house warming gift....  Tommy & Roger Hayden posters and a Ben Spies poster (1/2" tear) - yours for postage.  All are about 12" x 18" in size.   PM me with address if interested.   :beers:

You can find some stuff on ebay... some of it even autographed.

The official MotoGP store is at:
http://www.motogpmerchandise.com/

The official World SBK store was at
http://www.sbksuperstore.com
But appears to be non-functional at the moment.

AFAIK, there's no official store for AMA Superbike, but some riders/teams have their own websites and merchandise.

If you can ever get to an AMA race, you'll get loads of posters.

Check with any local shops if they have any.

I won a copy of this calendar from the MotoGPod podcast, and am totally impressed with the shots!  http://www.americanroadracer.com/

I'm going to dissect the previous months and plaster them to the walls of my own diminshing space when we move in to our new house this August.

just make sure you get a pit pass. Last years AMA's at barbers had plenty of shops around, but this year it seemed half of them moved to the pit pass area.

As for the posters there were loads for free at the various racing team tents.

If you want some cool retro stuff, go to whitehorsepress.com.  They have tons of stuff, they also have a catalog they'll send you.
