So you like that radial engine sound of Harley's Big Twins, but even the big-bore aftermarket versions aren't enough for you - and the V8 sound of the Boss Hoss isn't what you're looking for?
Maybe this is the solution you've been looking for then:

......And to think that BMW boxer owners used to worry about dragging their valve covers on the ground......
Some people are like Slinkies.
They're really good for nothing.
But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

that's wild looking. My first plane ride was on a Tri-Motor Ford. I'm not that old, it was used to fly to an island in Lake Erie.

Wish I still had an old Ozbike mag, from years back, some crazy bloke over here got his c#*# scratches on to a Merlin V12 motor, hacked off the front 2 cylinders and made a 5000cc V twin, shoved that into a frame and started the sucker up in front of parliament house, Canberra during the celebration of Aust motorcycling festival. Now that was awesome. :bigok:
Foot loose and fancy free.
Looking for adventure and what ever comes our way.

I remember that bike!! (Hard to forget something that extreme!) It was featured in one of the US rags, too.

I even managed to find a little info on it - and a pic:

I'd love to hear that bike run.  I love those old piston aircraft engines, especially the old V12 supercharged Rolls Royce Merlins.  I remember the old days of Hydroplane racing when there'd be 5 or 6 of those monsters out there.  That was true thunder.

I hear ya! The current crop of Unlimiteds with their turboshaft jet helicopter engines, while faster, just aren't real Thunderboats... more like screaming, whining boats.

And I just love the sound of a Merlin at full-song... in a Hydro, an old warbird, or a Reno Unlimited Air Racer. When I was growing up, the crewchief for the Miss Notre Dame lived across the street... I just wish I still had some of the swag he gave me back then...
