I went to the local Saturday night hang out for motorycle riders . A few of us decided to go for a quick ride around town and while on the ride. I noticed that one of the guys riding had his helmet on the bike and not on his head. He was on a single cylinder 250cc cruiser type bike. I later inquired about his non-use of his helmet and he told me that he wears it occasionally. After inquiring about helmets, he then changes the subject and then starts talking about how that he would like to buy a mesh jacket. Also after sitting on one of the GSXR750's, he then starts talking about how nice it would be to have one. I asked him how long he has been riding. I found out that he has only been riding since April and he already wants a sport bike.
I told him that if he does, he'll probably end up as a organ donor. He was a nice guy, but the thought of him on a motorcycle just seems scary.
