Throw away your Snell helmet

Motorcyclist had an interesting article on helmet standards. Much to my surprise and I think theirs, helmets meeting the Snell requirements actually provided less protection than helmets meeting the DOT requirements. An interesting read for sure.

Yeah, and I would love to know how many "Pep Boys" hats are worn by their staffers.  :monkeymoon: Those guys talk the talk, but do they walk the walk?

At the end of the article they did say that all helmets are much better than a few years ago. Also they said for the impacts they were simulating, your other injuries would probably wipe you out anyway. :motorsmile:
