The most amazing shit you've ever seen!!
« on: February 19, 2012, 07:57:03 PM »
When looking for a pic of my old bike I actually found it on some other forum!!!! I remember the uniquely re-covered seat, the Yosh pipe withe the faded logo, the shitty spare keys I got for it everything!!! Woahh! But what I didn't like is he chopped up a pretty rare model cause he's a phucking idiot. I PM'd him and wrote this post:

It's definitely my bike for sure I even remember the shit spare keys I got for it. Woah!! Well from what we did to the engine unless the last owner raped it, it should last another 100,000 kms. We tore it right down, also the CDI is brand new so your good there. I'll wait to confirm with the owner I can fill him in on all the shit we did and maybe give him the mechanics phone number if he wants to ask more.

It's a pretty rare model. Why would he chop the phuck out of it? It's like taking a rare model '57 chevy, cutting the phuck out of it and stick a ford Pinto body on it. It's just not done. I'm guessing he's a kid or something and doesn't know any better. If kept in relitively stock and good shape it might have been worth some money some day as it was year before the GSXR750 came out but now it's worth just parts. I would have chopped the ES model instead which there were thousands and thousands not the few hundred EF full fairing models that came into Canada. I guess you can't learn taste.

I even have new original Suzuki "S" decals for the tank on me that he could pick up for free, that I forgot to give to the person I sold it to. I guess he won't be needing them now with the raping and all. Oh well another rare model classic bike bites the dust due to "bubba-izing". There's probably now only a handful left in the entire country, minus one now.

While he did good work and he is obviously talented why would he use a very rare model to chop up? It's like taking the Mona Lisa and white washing it so you can paint over it. It doesn't matter if you paint the best picture of your life you still raped and wrecked the picture underneath. I'm guessing from the import "fast and furious" special in the driveway that he's a kid or something. Sad, just sad. Some things don't need to be "souped" up.

I dunno dude, there are loads of 57 Chevy hotrods that I'd rather see over a stock one. I like what he did with it. Its not like it was a meusem piece... It had 100k on it and an aftermarket pipe. Be glad that it's not in the junk yard and that someone is still enjoying it.

It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.

True he did do a good job for sure. At lest he's getting a good bike we really fixed that engine up. I'm glad it's still kicking around at 100K kms! Though to be honest when we stripped the engine down and checked the specs, that engine had a lot of life left in her. I hope he enjoys it, I can at least vouch for the engine. It's just weird I actually found a bike I owned still being driven around out there from years ago. I guess my friend and I did a good job on the engine.
