too cool !!!!!!!!!
« on: January 30, 2008, 08:09:52 PM »
I was checking out some Guzzi Stuff and ran into this.  This is one cool variation on a Bandit:

I'd never heard of this one before.  But it's a Bandit powered bike from the guy that designed the famous MV Augustas.

wow, I like the way you posted the photos.....I wish I knew how to do that!

Anyway.  I'd never seen these bikes before.  I'd sure like one of his MVs, Guzzis, and Suzukis.......heck, even a Honda

Right click on Picture you're looking at, click properties.

Copy "location" and paste it into your post, OR, the preferred method is to save it to your computer, THEN upload it to either your own server or a free site (photobucket, etc). Then, paste it as a photo here.

The only problem with copy/pasting pics is wherever you're copying it from, leaves you completely open for Internet Espionage. Say you copy a pic called Big2.jpg. Well, the person hosting that pic sees that people are linking his pic to some internet site, so he uploads a nasty pic to his server, taking the place of the original file but with the same name, and a lot of times, the pic replacing it is not that pretty, and most times vulgar.

Wow, I linked it to the original picture.  I guess you're right the site could definately change it, but they would have to give the same exact name.  Man, Who would do such a nasty thing?  Next time I'll try to upload to photobucket instead.

Actually, those Magnis posted are based on the Bandit's cousin, the GSX1200 Inazuma.

I stand corrected.  It is a 98, that is why I never heard of the 1200.  I do know that they now make a 1400.

 They DID make a GSX1400... like the GSX1200, it's part of Suzuki history now, too.

They still sell the GSX1400 in the UK, altough their site is calling it the final edition.

With fuel injection, catalytic converter, and 6 speeds, it seems to meet emissions still.

You guys are missing the point.

The Bike, the frame, is a Magni.  An Italian custom made bike, designed by the same guy that designed the famous MV Augusta.  He used a Bandit 1200 engine for the power plant.

Too Cooool.

I have never heard of this in my 10 years as a Bandit enthusiast.  Has anyone else?

Not really missing the point. The donor bike was a GSX1200, as said on the Magni site, which isn't a Bandit, but closer kin to the GSX1400.

The thing is, it really doesn't look much different than the donor bike, except for the weird blue/red paint scheme.
