Toronto motorcycle show.
« on: December 11, 2010, 12:27:29 AM »
I just got back from the Toronto motorcycle show.  The Kawasaki z1000 and Honda cb1000 were both very nice looking. The ducat monster with abs was also very cool. The suzuki line up is pretty boring this year but the retro 250 was interesting... But seems priced kinda high.

After seeing all the new bikes, I still prefer my gas guzzling 20 year old bandit 400. If anything I might pick up another project bike.

It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.

Now that I ride I am starting to get it.  Seeing some the bikes in cali now mean something and they are cool!

I've started my lust for a new bike already...and it seems the Ninja 1000 is my cup of tea. Expect that my bandit has more torque for my 230 lbs carcass. :banghead:
5.9L GC...fast
427 sbc 91 vette...sometimes faster
4.7L 06' GC...baby's momma hauler
oh yeah a 49 state 1200s green GSF

I really like that bike (except for the exhaust tips and the silly ninja script decal).  Seems like the riding position is even more standard than the Bandit.
