Suzuki Austria.

Specs are there under Technik, but you'll have to do the translation.

For those of you that could not translate, the new B-12 has the same specs & same powerplant as last years.

I have sat on both the new 1200 and 650 and will say that all the changes are mostly cosmetic (at least on the Canadian models)

New Fairing
(hard to tell its new by sitting on it) But mostly accomidates the Busa style stacked headlight.

New Mirrors
Like the old mirrors better

Headlights
Probably be much better than the bugeyes

Adjustable Seat
Only 2 settings, adjusted by placing the seat gromets in different locations not that high tech.

Adjustable bars

New Guages.
Liked them lots but don't know how they will be in full sun

New plastic all around.
I do love the looks, especially the gloss black Canadian model for 2006!

Also note that the Canadian model is not equiped with ABS but European models have the option.

Really, if you sit on the new Bandit, you feel like your sitting on a 2002 S. I would see no reason to trade my 2002 for a 2006. It looks, feels and smells like a bandit!

I am starting to wonder if the new Bandits are going to be available in the US. In Canada here, all the dealers had the 650's in stock, and I sat on the new 1200 in my local dealers shop area last month. (It was before Suzuki's 2006 product launch show in Canada)

Is it possible that the US will get the new GSR 600 and rumored GSR 1300, with the Bandit being dropped from the US?

I never cared for the fairing on the 01-05 versions, but I really like how they changed the setup on these.  BTW, I want that color blue as well! :bigok:

We're not getting the GSR600 or the GSR400  for '06.
I'm guessing when/if the GSR1300 comes, the US will get that one - and maybe then we'll get the 600, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
(It might strike a deadly blow to the ever-popular SV650.)

I was going to buy one instead of my 2005 but then I saw the crazy electronic schtick speedo. Yuck!!!
2005 Bandit 1200, Modified Holeshot Stage 1 with 17.5 pilots 2.75 turns out, and 110 mains 5 shims. Muzzy Slip on w/mid-pipe, stock filter. 1.5" hole in the airbox lid.
