Welcome... INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE!!!

morning, all!

I bought my b4 last October (from someone on this board, forget the screen name though, sorry!) and am enjoying the hell out of it now that nice weather has come around again. Located in the Washington DC area and my main online hangout is the notorious dcsportbikes.com

Here's a pic from one of the last rides I squeezed in before winter. I'm the one on the left, northbound on skyline drive:

See those pieces, lying all around? That's me
Still broken, from when I hit the ground

i'm a 2000 B6 owner, and use it mostly for commuting to and from work.  i've been riding off and on for over 10 years.  and most of those years on a honda rebel 250.  i've been working on my cornering skills on the angeles crest highway, and have aspirations of touring.  love my bandit!!!
i appreciate all of your help on my unending questions about the art of the bandit.

Hello to all Banditos,

I had joined this board last year but somehow after the upgrade, my account got screwed. So now, I have re-registered and am happy that I can participate in news and views.

I am from Singapore and have been riding a Bandit 600 (GSF600Y) since 2004 Jul and love it. I love the smoothness and quick throttle response (unlike my previous Harley) but am still fighting the front end wobble. I noticed this after I added on a rear helmet box.

I read some previous postings which deduce that it was probably due to the tyre design. I am using Bridgestone BATLAX BT50 Radials.

Are there any members from South East Asia?
Ride with fun and your face in the sun...

I believe the Singaporean members are all 400 Bandit owners, so you may find them there, if they don't show themselves here first.

Hi.   I have owned a 97 Bandit 1200S for two years now.  My cousin sold it too me after putting about $3500 in it from the Holeshot website.  1216 big bore kit being the big ticket item and upgraded suspension.  After being away from sport bikes for a couple years and closing in on 40yrs old, it was just the ticket.   Still smile every ride.

I am currently stationed at Thule AB Greenland, but will return to Colorado Springs in a month.  See you around the online water cooler.

:welcome: Robert, RMR & Alvaro!  :beers:

Alvaro, do you know Carlos of Club Bandit EspaƱa? I know Madrid is a big city, but just wondering in case you ride with the club. Carlos stops by once in a while and posts, especially when it's getting time to announce their Banditadas or show pictures from one.
