Pretty cool article on a Canadian collector/racer who's into Ducati in a big way...he has a collection of more than 250 bikes!!

Not too difficult to do if you've owned several bikes.

I've owned several Suzukis & Yamahas (which tend to be my favorite two brands) and couple of Kawasakis.
So far, only one Honda and a Penton (now KTM), so there's a high likelyhood that my next bike will be a brand I've owned before.

I suppose the same might be said for cars, too.

True for me.
I've owned eight different Yamahas since 1973 (still have four of them).
The only other bike I've had was a 2001 Bandit 1200S and I sold that as soon as Yamaha came out with the FZ1.
So back to 100% Yamaha for me.
I did love the Bandit when I had it, but absolutly do not miss it.

I know what you mean as there are a ton of bikes out there I love. Only problem is Suzuki just happens to make a lot of bikes that I like and they also are willing to deal like crazy! Great combination like that means I'll probably be sticking with Suzi's for a long while.

However we do end up going straight to University and not some junior college.... of all the school systems.... i wouldn't use yours as a comparison....

Until my Bandit, I've always owned Honda CB's.

1. 82 CB750C
2. 76 CB550K
3. 82 CB900F (Still have)
4. 81 CB750K
5. 80 CB750K
6. 03 Bandit 1200 (Still have)

For the most part, it is just how it worked out. CB's mainly was showing up for the right price at the right time. That is except for my 900, I really wanted a F model. I personally like both Honda and Suzuki for owning purposes. About the only two brands that I have no interest in owning is Kawasaki and Ducati.
