What great racing and etc etc ec

Man I gotta say that was same good stuff, well if ya an aussie.
Troy C in the 1st and Troy B in the second, and Troy B leading the SBK after the 2nd round.  And Troy C very lucky on the 2nd after highsiding and being hit by another rider. So the Flu is giving me the shytes, after the 1st race I had to get out and enjoy the near perfect weather down here. So it was off to the 2 spurs run ( Reefton and Black) With all, well at least 99.9% of all the boy racers down at the track on the island, the run was event free, no dropkicks over doing it on the wrong side of the road requiring quick changes of undies.
So all in all, great racing, great riding and great weather, life don't get much better than this.
Yeh I know, pity about the flu. :crybaby:

You're right, what a great couple of races.  Kevin Curtain was a bit unlucky in the Supersport as well.  It could have been a different result had he not overcooked it in to Honda.

I'm impressed with Barros, he's adjusted very well.  I'll for give him for running over Troy C, but he didn't have much choice in the matter.

I'll have to check the Speed chanel schedule to see if I can watch it. Don't seem to be able to free up my time when races are telivised(if teleivised).

I kinda missed the supersports, was when I went out playing on the 2 spurs.

Mr Barros, well I'm tipping him to be the quiet achiever this season, While the Troys are fighting it out, Mr Barros could well do a Kenny Roberts JNR, and take it away without winning one. I think I'll be putting an each way bet on him.

So lets see, you've got an each way on the Troys, an each way on Barros,
I'll bet that you take the field in the Melbourne Cup.

Did you guys see when Troy C. went down and got hit. He would have been plowed by the next pack if he didn't jump to the side. I just about jumped out of my seat as high side went down.
Looking forward to a great season.

Another thing I loved about the races were the announcers.  Gosh they are great!  They really get into it!

That would depend on which commentators you were listening to.  I'm not a big rap for David Murdoch, but Magoo's not bad.

Big Daryl Eastlake - hey I didn't mind him on the Thugby - he actually made it bareable.

No, I think the best motorsport commentators are Andy Raymond and Will Hagon from SBS.

Mind you, no-one did commentary quite like the late great Barry Sheene.
