Does anyone know if I can fit a 2000 (2G) 600 shock to my 1G 600 bandit? Will it fit straight in or do I need a specific 1G shock?
Many Thanks

If you are looking for a cheap upgrade for your rear shock, you should pick up a 1g 1200 rear shock. I would imagine, IMHO, that would give you a better ride than a 2g b6 shock. I put one on my 1g b6 and there was a good amount improvement.

Yeah, I put a 1G 1200 shock on my 96 B6. What a dif!
It was very easy to do and I got it used right here on this form. I would most def go with the 1200 shock mod. It's cheap, easy, and make a BIG dif in the ride and handling.
