That looks almost like the Jupiter 2, my favorite looking spaceship.

The symbolism is what is important here and I can appreciate it as I am recovering from a bad sprain after going down on my DRZ400 dirt bike because I decided not to ware my MX boots that day and washed out. I have also had a couple crashes on the street I walked away from with bruises and I can tell you that the real thing can never be over dramatized in a photo but it is a good reminder to wear all your protective gear, be careful and be ready to crash with some control. I would rather see a picture anyday real or fake then suffer the real thing .

From where I think it was originally posted (wreck was near my local riding area)

Quote
Just thougth I would share what is really an awesome pic of a wreck at the Playground near Shady valley yesterday. And some pics of what one of the bikes looked like afterwords.

The short version of what happened:

the 636 was coming down the thru the sweeper when the rider ran out of talent and tires, him and bike proceded to slide into the oncoming lane and take out the kid coming into the turn going the other direction....

A broken leg was the worst of the injuries and that was sustained by the guy on the 636 in leathers. The boy wearing nothing but jeans and a shirt and still in the air during the picture sustained only two sprained ankles as far as we know at this point. The one ankle looked to be broke to me but I haven't gotten confirmation yet....

New riders, don't try to ride over your head, this is the kind of thing that happens when you push way beyond what you are currently capable of..

I really hope the dent in the tank isn't from the riders pelvis... ouch.

On the bright side the frame sliders kept his lower fairing intact...

I am actually in Nashville but I call East Tennessee my home riding grounds because that is where the best roads are. I get there when ever I can to ride. Mostly in the South Eastern corner of Tn.
