Yet Another Bloody Bandit Street Fighter (Phase II).  

Just thought I'd share my progress so far... I'm still waiting on a GSG-Moto front fender from Der Vaterland.

Hesa Tail
Busa Forks (anodized)
Race-Tech internals
Hagon rear shock
GSG-Clutch cover
LSL Lights
Gilles Rearsets
HEL brakelines
Suburban Machinery bars
Acewell digital clocks
Renegade exhaust
Powder coated frame/swingarm
garage paint job
Lots more...

Still not finished.  I have a few more things to do (swingarm,  oil cooler, etc.)

I have pics of the 'during' phase, while I was chopping the frame, etc., if anyone is interested.  I did almost all the work myself.

I love the clear clutch window.  I want one of those so bad.  It is looking pretty sweet.  It definitely wouldn't hurt my feelings to ride it. :clap:

Really nice, quality job!  :congrats:

The blue frame really pops out, it's an unusual color choice but that's what it's all about, right?  :wink:

Every time I see an air/oil Bandit/streetfighter conversion, it makes me want to get a cheap old thrashed one myself just for the fun of doing a project like this... see how radical it can get. The modern streetfighter concept is a lot like the old original 'chopped" Harleys were meant to be... totally stripped-down and leaned out.

Very clean. I like it.  :motorsmile:

That's an extremely well-done streetfighter.....exactly what a true 'fighter should be, IMO. And you've got those trick CRG bar end mirrors that cost a fortune......
If it goes even as half as good as it looks, you've got a winner there. Heck, it even looks fast standing still.  :grin:

Hey bgrundy

In my opinion, that's one of the best streetfighter conversions I've seen. Look really cool. I especially like the seat and tail, and the front end looks like it came there from the factory.

I really love the Streetfighter look and you pulled it off nicely. Very nice job and good choice of colors. :congrats:

Just curious...but how much do you have in it?  I love the gold forks...like to have something like that on mine...and the clutch cover is just insane- didn't even know they made stuff like that.

Far FAR more than I care to admit.  Some of it's just pointless, expensive bling...Like the Gilles rearsets.  Other stuff really adds to the look nicely, like the clutch cover.  I paid around $3500 for the bike, and it's very likely that I have that same amount in it again in parts.  The forks were around $800  or $900 by the time I got done with rebuilding (race tech), anodizing, and fitting a 'busa wheel.  

The tail was the most expensive single part at $850.  But the fitting is perfect (frame had to be cut in several places) and it came with the tail light and a beautiful carbon fiber under tray.  Real quality stuff.

I still want a new swingarm, a new oil cooler and lines, and I'd like to swap the exhaust out for an under the frame jobbie...but that'll take some thought.  The 2gen frame is not really set up for that.
