I know this is short notice, but if anyone is interested in joining my son & I for a ride on Saturday, let me know.
I haven't set up an exact redezvous time yet, but we're somewhat flexible - as long as you don't want meet up too early. My son doesn't do early very well.

Too bad there were no takers. Weather was fantastic!
We did get a late start as my son had decided to do some last minute changes Friday night and they ended up bleeding over into Saturday, so I guess it's good we weren't committed to a set time. Anyway, here's some pics from the Mt Baker ski resort area. The road to the very top (Artists Point) still isn't open yet.

Cool Paul

Hope you two had a great ride. This one is on my list, but not scheduled yet. Maybe fall. Snow should be melting fast now. Do you know when the top will be open? Is the top also good riding?

The last mile or so past the road closed sign is more for scenic value. It's posted pretty slow, like 25 mph, and theres a still a few nice curves to enjoy... there's one corner a fellow aboard a Gixxer blew a couple of years ago that was fatal... it was a long drop off the edge.

A freind of mine (John Meister, owner of Wagoneers.com) was just up to Mt. Baker recently and took some very nice pics. I thought I share a few with you, but if you want to see all of them, they're here:
