Have just got hold of a cheap and workable set of 2way radio's and helmit mounted flat ear speaker. which is good. Paid only £60 for 2 hand sets and 2 headsets with the promo that Maplins are running, should cost £100 but £30 per bike it for nothing. Great at speeds upto 40mph after that its a bit harder to hear and around 90mph its a no go. but what do you exspect for that kind of money. Good, Cheap and workable what more can I say.

Radios are: Cobra MT525-2 - 8 channel 38 tones.
In Helmit: Bike 2 Bike Communication Headset. Comes with waterproof PTT button for the handle bars.

The PTT button is the only bit that I donk like, Have to find a better way to mount it.

I've just been looking at these ones. http://www.intaride.com/content/xl.html

£198 a pair. hopefully will be useful above 40mph though
i've got quite a noisy race rep helmet though so that wont help.

will be useful when me and my bro go touring off to Austria next month

I sought out from the local bike show these units.. ICM...http://www.imc-motorcom.com/ Im actually very happy with them. The units themselves for basic operation of bike to bike costed about $150 CDN. then I had to get some COBRA long range walkies. I picked up the rechargable units for $100 CDN/pair. They work great, even at speeds above 50 KPH.

The only downside now is having to listen to my wife singing all the time, time to switch to manual op and turn off the VOX system!!
