Helmet Shell Sizing
« on: May 11, 2006, 01:06:05 PM »
I'm not real tall (5' 7") so with my HJC Yikes Helmet on, I look like an alien.  I know that most helmet manufactures only make a single shell and only change the size of the padding inside the helmet.  Although my helmet is a "small", I know it would look better on someone 6' or taller.

Can someone suggest a helmet that is snell rated and comes in a small shell size?

Actually, most vendors make shells in two sizes. One for small/medium and one for the bigger gourds.

If you wear an adult small, you might look into the larger sizes of child lids.

You could get a black lid and just go by the name of "Dark Helmet"
