i found these hard baggies on ebay,

http://stores.ebay.com/CLICK-HERE-TO-SAVE-UP-TO-90-PERCENT

i think they're pretty cheap priced, might be a good deal.
of course your gonna need to buy holeshot's rack or other brands to mount em' on the bike.

what do you guys think?

that's one kit, here's another.

I think they're pretty cool but I wonder if they would look better on a Harley?  (does ANYTHING look better on a harley??)

How about this instead....I've been watching it for a couple of days and nobody seems interested...might be cheaper and easier to put on - this one ends in 5 hours and counting.....

It's nice, but the glossy, shiney style isn't my thing.  That's just me.  I prefer the Givi unpainted flat black plastic cases.  Less gaudy.  I don't want my cases to outshine my bike!

you don't want your cases to outshine your bike?
then you like your bike's shine, doesn't that make shine your thing?
it's a mounted case, it becomes part of the bike.
maybe you should paint your bike flat black too, if you don't want the glossy red paint.

sorry, i'm an ass today haha

I think the top box would be OK, but those bags would look out of place. The bags would be better suited to a cruiser.

If you put a top box like that on a 2G B6/12, be sure to use a luggage rack that ties in to more than just the grab rail mount!

how's the ride with that?
does it feel like you have a passenger?
 how's the ride on corners?
some people tell me the side trunks might be better coz' of the weight is lower, but i told em' i might not be able to corner fast with those because of the clearance wont be enough to get me lower.

I think those side cases would also give you a bit of trouble with the exhaust on the right.

If you wanna carry luggage low, go with a set of soft bags developed for sport bikes. There's several out there.

FWIW, when I go on trips, I carry my luggage in the luggage rack sort of position... but my Ventura setup isn't exactly the cheapest of the soft luggage solutions, but it is versatile.

The National Park Service might not be happy with you if you did!
The top one is at Diablo Lake in the North Cascades NP, the lower one is in Glacier NP on the Going to the Sun Highway, just east of Logan Pass.

Yes, I did make it to the CDN side, too.

More pics from my trip thru Glacier/Alberta/BC with Bobcat.

Have any of you used or seen (in the flesh, so to speak) the Corbin Beetle Bags.....

I've only seen the pic's on the Corbin site.  The 'look' as though they'd do the job, and don't look to bad either.....the price is a bit scary though....

I have seen the Beetle Bags in person, both the Bandit ones and other models (a guy @ work has 'em on a VTX). They do look good. The one complaint I've heard is they're a bit more of a bitch to pack than others. My own beef with them is they aren't designed to pop off so you can take them in the motel with you.
