A couple of weeks ago I installed the Givi PL534 tubular side-case holder and Givi 534FZ monorack. Probably took me an hour and a half to two hours to install them. Not really very hard, just took my time and plugged away. I believe the 534 is specific to the GSF650S, '05-'06.
The following weekend I moved the stock signals back... with the help of a friend with some wire and a soldering iron. You use the extension brackets provided with the PL534. Naturally the stock wires were not long enough, so we had to extend each wire by 12" or so. I'd say it took an hour to do the first one and about 6 minutes to do the second one.
The bike looks a bit odd with the brackets and no luggage, but what can you do? (Leave the bags on I guess)
Rode down to London this morning and picked up the bags. I had ordered the Givi V46 topcase and Givi E21 sidecases. It was raining today, but the folks at Inglis let me into their service area to unpack the boxes and figure out how to get the bags attached. Got back home, cleaned the bike up, and snapped some pics.
The E21 sidecases don't stick out too far sideways, which is nice. Overall I'm quite pleased with the proportions of the luggage and how it looks on the bike.
