ZERO GRAVITY TOURING SCREEN
« on: April 25, 2005, 07:38:25 PM »
I recently purchased a ZG touring screen and thought it might be helpful if I list my impressions. The screen lifts windblast about 5 inches over stock. Buffeting is not bad. The screen provides good comfort for long distance riding.

On the negative side, the screen is rather flimsy. It doesn't fit perfectly and it is a little noisy with a rattle at high speeds.  Overall, I'd rate it at 7 out of 10.

I didn't have any rattle noise issues with mine, but the wind noise was too high for my tastes, so I traded mine for their Double Bubble screen. I did like the hole in punched in the atmosphere, just didn't feel the extra noise was worth it. As I've said before though, windscreens effect different people in different ways. What's great for one may be terrible for someone else. The nice thing about ZG is they will give you 10 days to decide if you like a product or you can exchange it for another.
