Was looking at these in the Chaparral catalog.

Anyone ever used one?

I use the Fog City Hyper Optics. This unit works well. I don't need to wear sun glasses. Visor doesn't fog at all.

A friend used another brand and he doesn't like it. Doesn't change much in the sun and gives off bad halos and distortions at night. Sorry I don't know the brand. He got it from Dennis Kirk and I know it was a little less money than the Hyper Optics.

I bought one over a year ago. They do not do what they claim. Stick with the band of black tape across the top of shield(clear shield) and you can ride at dark and during the sunny days with sunglasses or not with plenty of relief.
I do like the Fogcity inserts better for the winter riding months except they too distort your view somewhat.
