Hi all.  Just wanted to say hello and find out if there are any other owners local to me?  I have a non-running 400 that I am about to do a full electrical check on.  

I bought it from  a friend who couldn't seem to get it running, but then again, he didn't do any of the checks/tests/etc to see where the problem was.  I'm hoping that it isn't the CDI ;)

There is also some rust in the tank, but I shouldn't have too much trouble with that, as I've had to do it before on my last bike.

Anyway, I hope to hear from any of you near me!

Hey Reese,

  I'm over in North Augusta, I know of one 1200 rider in the Columbia area, who gets on the board....sometimes.

  The guys in the 400 forums will be a lot of help to you....
