'89 B4 import

Hi there,
  Wondering if any one can help me. I have just bought an 89jap import B4 with the twin front discs lovely bike goes like sh*t off a shovel. and i have been looking at different parts availible but they only list from '91 model on. (i think this is when they started importing to britain.) Can any one tell me if there is any difference between these bikes and if the parts will fit. I am particuarlly after a kmh speedo cable.

AFAIK, and the 400 guys that are sharper on this model than I am will certainly correct me if I'm wrong, but the 89-91 models are mechanically the same. The brakes on the twin disc models are different from the singles, but that's about it.

As for the speedo cable, I can't see why a KPH or MPH cable should be any different. The difference should be in the speedo head or possibly the drive unit on the wheel, but the cables should be the same.
