HEL Brake lines
« on: December 25, 2007, 07:01:27 AM »
I open my christmas present and ive got a nice set of hel braided hoses for the bandit. Then i think those front lines look short and when i go match them to the bike they only go to the splitter box (too short to even reach there to be honest) and not to the master cylinder like the kit say's theyre meant to. Has anyone else had this problem? Also could someone else with lines direct from the master cylinder to the calipers measure there lengths of both lines. Thanks Michael

make sure you have the right kit as import ones and uk spec ones are different.
If you cant join them, beat them...

When I got my Hel brake lines the line going from the master cylinder to the splitter was too short. I measured the length I needed and I got a custom made line from Hel through my dealer.

I got the import spec kit and had the specified race setup one eg 2 lines on the front direct from master cylinder to the calipers. So now my question is can someone measure me the length of their lines if they have a set of these on an import b4?
