If the engine reaches 14500 RPM, the speed is 242 km/h.

the official word is: 14/46 for '91/92 and 14/47 for '93

two teeth on the back is equivalent to one on the front

one teeth on the front is equivalent to almost 4 teeth at the back

14/46=0.304,  14/47=.298  Both sound like approx 3.3 to 1 to me. Most bikes are closer to 1/3 than either 1/2 or 1/4; ie 15/45 is exactly 1/3.

Just a minor correction :bigok:

You can also try this one:
ditagear.xls

It's based on the one that I have for the 919, with ( I think) all the pertinent details changed, you'll just need to expand the bottom list to 15000 rpm, instead of 11K

I have something like that, it also has a graph. By the way;

Quote
Note: To measure tire circumference roll bike and measure the length of one revolution of rear wheel. Then divide measurement by 3.1416 to calculate diameter.

I'd measure the diameter of the wheel, from the ground to the middle of the axle when the bike is exactly upright. Multiply by 2, multiply by pi.

It wouldn't be hard to make excel graph that, but if you want to get me the other one, I think we should have no problem hosting that in the members forum.

There are a number of ways to calculate that, that was only one of the ways.  :grin:

I didn't make the spreadsheet, I only stole it off some guy's server who hadn't secured his stuff.  :lol:  :devil:  (Found it legitimately through a google search), then traversed up the web tree when I saw what was there.
