post oil change starting issue.

I changed my oil two days ago and now whenever I start I need to use the choke - I never needed to before - Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I have had my '94 for 2000km now has 20000km on it so I changed the oil to a Shell full synthetic 15W/50 (recommended by my local store), but now I have to use the choke or it dies on me - even with the choke it struggles. Once it has warmed up it seems fine.  It is not even cold here yet, not that it ever gets that cold in brisbane.........

But has the weather changed at all?
Seems odd than an oil change would effect starting with/without the choke.

Either way, if the choke doesn't have to stay on once it's warmed up, I think it's a non-issue.

The weather is the same >20 Celcius.  It is just annoying, but I guess I will get over it.
