Any one heard from winslow and the web/megacycle cam thing?

lots of people have been hacking the CVS one time video cameras
to use as recorders/cams for tight or dangerous places.

they are pretty indestructible and they are pretty cheap
so if it does get smashed it really is no loss

Webcam is a company that makes custom camshafts, not video cams to be shown on the web.  Winslow is a member here who bought a set.  He was getting engaged or married or something.  I wonder if he ever got around to it.

Hey guys.  Sorry to have been away for so long.  I did not have much luck with the cam swap.  I never was able to get things dialed in correctly.  I got to the point of getting a five horse gain on top-end, but no matter what I did, I could not make the bike idle consistently or have any kind of low end or mid-range.  I got so frustrated with it, that I sold it last fall to one of the mechanics at the dealership I work at.  I had just finished the buildup of my Yamaha Warrior so I didn't feel like fighting to get another street bike to work right.  

Now because there is no one around to tell me what I can spend my money on, I bought the bandit back and just got done putting the stock cams back in it so I can ride it as my daily driver and keep the warrior for hitting the cruising spots and doing wicked burnouts.  115 ft-lbs of torque makes that really easy.

Tomorrow, I will finish up putting the bandit back together and it will be back on the road.  It's good to be back.

so what have you done with the cams mate? Not sure if i would want them would like to have some measurments from them. Hope all is well with you.
