I think it's time to start parting out
« on: October 24, 2007, 09:08:19 AM »
After killing my engine the other week and not having the time or money to fix it I think it's about time to consider parting my precious baby out

I've got Laser exhaust system, carbs, new rear brakes... pretty much anything other than a working engine.  If people want to make some offers for me to consider I might be able to bring myself to ravaging her for parts.

Did the bike run perfectly before you started? eg are the carbs in good condition? How many miles has it done? I may be interested in the carbs and airbox.

It was fine, used to take a bit of starting in the cold and idle was a bit lumpy before it warmed up but I blame that on the choke lever sticking and me never using it.

The airbox is drilled but you can always tape the holes if you find it's running too lean.
