I just like to say hi to all you guys. I'm new to the board.
Well I had my bandit just over a year until the other day this BLIND woman drove in front of me. I was doing about 60km/h when I smashed into the front of her car. The poor bandit only had 23000 km on it. Now i'm on the look out for a 1995 bandit vv. Gonna be up and riding again in no time.

Uh, did you notice your forks are bent? And some other stuff too.

You didn't say, but I'm guessing you're weren't too badly scuffed up. Glad you're still alive to share your experience. BTW, where are you?

yeah the bike is totaled. Just hope the insurance money is coming in fast so I can get my new bike.

Hi, good to see someone else from South Africa on the board. Sorry to hear about your bike, just glad your o.k. Where in South Africa are you from?

I also got the 95 vv Bandit. Very nice bike, got some carb problems at the moment but hopefully that will be sorted out soon.

All the best to you with the insurance and getting a new bike.

Well I got mine for a bargain, R14 000, very good condition with a full yosh system. But they usually go for around R18000 - R22000. Just look around for a while before you buy anything, and preferably see if you can get a private sale, the dealers will only try to rip you off. I saw an ad somewhere on the internet for a very nice looking one in the Western Cape for about R18000.

Hope you werent to badly bruised and beaten. Try megabike or the bike sa for a VV Model i have seen a few going for the R19 000 - R22 000 range.
