check that out!
I think its beautiful, if only suzuki sold them outside japan, it'll be years before they come up as grey imports.
I'll just have to console myself with its 600cc bigger brother.

Isn't that gorgeous?  Love it.  The tail/exhaust is so cool.  As is the 180 rear tire!  Oh and FI would be pretty cool too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i wonder if its the same block as the impulse
just with different covers and injectors and such

the impulse is the same as our engine I think
just a crappier retro frame and smaller carbs
http://www.suzukicycles.org/GSX-series/GSX400-Impulse.shtml

maybe there is still a future for parts for our bikes?

No, it's not the same as the Impulse. It's an all-new engine (at least in the 400cc iteration - I suspect it is related to the GSXR600 motor though).

I think some manufacturer needs to put something out there to compete with the 250 Ninja and that GSR would do the trick. Newbies don't have alot of choices if they want a sporty bike to learn on. I would have probably bought something smaller when I got my B6 if the options didn't seem so cheesy.
