Guessin' you need some carb work. Sounds like you may have clogged or restricted jets.

Paul is right, my bangit did it all the time and the only cure for it is a full, and i mean full strip of the carbies and then once she is up and going again sync the carbies, and then you should be all good, Trust me Iv'e tried everything and this is the only cure!!! Good luck

Oh and make sure you get into the idle circuit good and proper. :beers:

Don't know squat about the 250, but one of those vacuum lines will run to your fuel petcock. All Bandits have vacuum operated fuel petcocks.

If you are refering to the ones that are fairly long and seem to want to wrap around the air box, I've got those ones as "breathers" (not conected to anything) if it's the two fatter ones they come together and join to another filter on top of the rocker cover, and then as Red said one that joins to one of the intake manifolds is for the vaccume on the petcock and the other is the fuel hose (slightly larger in diameter). Good luck but I'm sure you will figure it out. A good tip is if you have a camera (digital) take photos befor hand and as you strip them down. :beers:  :bigok:

I had a similar problem with mine. It would start with the choke fine but without it it would die, and if i touched the throttle at all it would conk out. Still havent really done anything about it though...It starts to work ok after a bit of fiddling around...
