Does anyone know if there's a more economical options for cool rear sets. That raise and setback your feet. Like from another bike.

If you look at anything over in Japan expect to sell your kidneys to cover the cost!
Ive a set of Beet on the B4, the solid pegs give a much crisper gear change.

Would be easy to use the peg end from an adjustable set fitted to a new frame mount if you understand what im saying.

I am really looking to move the controls back and up. If it makes sense I'd love to have the control levers be where the pegs are while stock. If that makes sense

I only had to drill and tap one hole. The other hole for mounting was already there from the stock bracket. I think the drill and tap was 8mm. Take off you rear sets and bracket and confirm size of the standard hole that is there. If you don't feel comfortable with a drill and tap, a machins shop will do both sides for about $25. All you have to do is remove the Bandit brackets and have the GSXR rear sets there for alignment. It will take only 30 minutes to complete this job.....plus you putting the rear sets and shifter back, brake, etc  on.

I am digging into rearsets for my 92 B400 since I am mounting some clip-on that will dramatically change the riding position (at least 10cm from my already flat style handlebars).
I got a question for TJS since I really like his use of GSXR's rear sets.

According to what you say, you had to drill and tap a hole. I first assumed it was in the GSXR rearset but I remember the tap is in the chassis but not in the rearset. Is it correct?

did you have to drill and tap the upper hole for the rearset (which would be placed lower than the original one)? I assume you had to do it on both sides, right?

Correct, in that drilling and tapping the top hole. You may have to grind a little on the inside edge of the rear set to fit the grove on the frame.
