I hate the bars on the bandit 400 I have You cant adjust them either.
They are the type shown here;

Has anyone every changed these for something else, what will fit?

I tried and got bored.... I bought a us spec top yoke and was going to fit normal bars, but you also need a longer throttle cable, a longer clutch cable and longer brake hoses.

You ought to be able to get a similar result to a US spec tubular handlebar in height with more adjustablity for the various angles with Convertibars or something similar. You wouldn't need a new upper triple, as they still mount clip-on style, but you may need to lengthen everything Banditmax talks about if you want to go further that what the stock stuff will allow.
