Hi, Welcome!

I'm not sure if it is the "nature of the beast" or what?  but my bike is the same way.  It can sit for days and it will start immeditately (with choke), but when the bike is warm, it needs 1/4 turn of the throttle to start.  Try giving a little blip of the throttle and see if that helps.

I'm not sure if this is an indication of something "wrong", but it hasn't really concerned me too much.  Maybe others can chime in with more opinions.

Dave.

I know the solution to this one, try to flip the run/start to off and on again. The bike will fire up. I''m not sure why it behaves this way but it work everything when I do that.

if your bike is running lean from jetting or air leaks you will also have a warm starting problem.
