thats why we have to start putting 06 600 forks on  :bandit: got to level the prices out.
i keep forgetting to ask the past owner what he had to change to get the forks to fit.
i think it was just the stem, spacers, and wheel bearings.

But with the forks, the swap is the same for the 1G & 2G 600-1200.  Don't know about the 3G 650/1200/1250, but I'm guessing it's the same on them, too.

The good.

The 93 gsx-r 600 rear shock bolts right up, no mods!!!!!!! Just had to find a place to mount the fluid res for the shock. The fluid line hookup is pointing towards the front on the shock, so i was able to retain my coolant res!!!! The frontend, fairing and rear shock makes the bike feel soo different. The full fairing offers very good wind protection for my entire body. At 100mph you barely feel the wind. And when I really tucked down behind the windscreen, my bike went up to about 130mph. I know, I know, my speedo is probably off but the bike hasn't ever done that before and it did feel like 125-135. I know this because ive done that speed pleanty of times on my girls F3. I know, I know (again), my girl has a faster bike then me. But hey I love my GIXXIT. LOL, you guys will understand once you see it.

The bad

The bike quit running again after a really good ride. I think it may be because of the fuel filter I installed, and or petcock and or vacum/fuel line. She should be running agian by this weekend and Ill take some pics of her too.

The ugly

She needs a paint job really bad now LOL.

Thanks to all of you for your help and all the info on this forum.

By the way all my extra parts will be on ebay soon. Ill post the links when they are up.

Will take pics tomorrow before I pull back off the fairings, I decided im not going to use the fairing after all. Just gonna use twin projector lights with HID and a ducati monster fairing. Also I am going to shorten the tail to get rid of the passenger seat. It will still retain the stock tail light and some of the tail fairing. I would keep the fairing but I dont think the shortened tail would look right with it. I am going with the idea that less is more.
